Love going out here. So much to do, you won't get bored. It's also nice if all you want to do is relax. Campsites are nicely landscaped and most are relatively private. An oasis in the middle of nowhere.
We stayed at the River Ranch RV Resort for one week and we had a wonderful time. The campsites are beautifully maintained and of course they are all different as different people own them. The RV resort itself was top notch. It became extremely quiet there from Monday through Thursday I assume because it is off season for them. It was nice to be able to use all of the facilities without a ton of people though. Kind of made us feel we had the place to ourselves. We did venture out to the Westgate side of things and enjoyed being able to participate in some of their activities. I highly recommend the airboat ride!! You absolutely need to do that.

The Kitchen needs some help, We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and grilled chicken salad at the restaurant. The chicken wasn't grilled and a very small portion then the pulled pork taste like it was out of a can and the roll was hard. Just at $40 including the tip for the waitress,
Great place to RV we traveled in a 45 ft RV. Our site was great with a swinging bench which I'm pretty sure all sites have except those around the canal. Pool and outdoor activities were great. Rodeo every Saturday was fun to and stopped by saloon for a drink after and the band inside was fun too! I loved the littles farmers market that came every Tuesday. Lots of things to do and great for kids too. One of my favorite places! Easy to get to and to park. Will definitely go back!
